Overview
Umbwe Route Is The Stunning And The Most Challenging Route To Reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m). It Is Short, Steep, And Direct Way To Climb Mountain Kilimanjaro. Umbwe Doesn’t Provide The Necessary Stages Acclimatization Due To Quick Ascent. At Certain Stage It Require a Trekker to Scramble over Rocks and Tree’s Roots. The Fitness and stamina Of a Trekker can be tested via This Route. Thus It Highly Recommended for Experienced Trekkers Who Are Looking for a Challenge .It join With Machame Route Near Barranco Camp (3,935m), It Follow The Route Towards The Summit From Barafu Camp (4,600M) And Descent Is Made Along Mweka Route.
Arrival in Tanzania
Arrivals at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you shall Meet Auresta Travel Office Representative, and Transfer You to Hotel. Hotel Will Provide All Necessities. After a Short Rest at the Hotel, your Guide will meet you for Briefing and Check Your Climbing Gears and Equipment to Make Sure You Are Ready for Climbing.

Tour Plan
After Breakfast in Your Hotel in, You Will Be transfer To the Umbwe Gate (1,800m). After Registration Formalities a Crew and you will start the First Step of An ultimate dream. The picturesque Umbwe Route at the start follows woodland Track Winding up through a Natural Rain Forest. Your First Camp Is stuck between Huge Trees and Thick brushwood. Your first day at the mountain stay hydrated, rest as it should be when it’s a time.

After Breakfast, You Will Leave the Camp; To Start Trekking Barranco Camp .The Path crosses Along a Stunning Ridge. As You Approach The Barranco Valley, Nested Inside A Huge Volcanic Fault, The Breach And Great Barranco Walls Will Provide You With Brilliant Sunset While Your Dinner Is Prepared. Your Day is Ended Here and You Have opportunity For Acclimatization Process. Your second day at the mountain stay hydrated, rest as it should be when it’s a time

After Breakfast We continue hike Great Barranco Wall. Enjoy the view at the top of barranco. After healthier break you can take photos in front of kibo Glacier. Then you hike of Karanga Valley Camp. After A picnic Lunch at Camp, and rest we can do acclimatization of about 200-meters and then descend to camp. Your third day at the mountain stay hydrated, rest as it should be when it’s a time

After breakfast you will trek to Barafu Camp. You have done with south circuit which offers a view of the summit from different angles. We will camp here for overnight, at Evening time you can enjoy a stunning Views of Mawenzi Peak. Your fourth day at the mountain stay hydrated, rest as it should be a time.

We Will Wake up around Midnight (00:00am) and some hot Tea/coffee/porridge with Cookies Will Be Ready for You. We Will Climb for about 4 To 5 Hours but an Incredible Height over a Short Distance. The View is surprising. We Should Be On The Crater Rim At Stella Point (5756 M) During Sunrise. Then After a Cup of coffee/Tea we shall trek to UHURU PEAK (5,895 M)-the highest elevation in Africa. While capturing Photos and celebration, consider weather, we can’t stay here for such long thus we should Start Descend to Barafu Camp to take a break/Lunch, Then down To Mweka Camp for Dinner and Overnight.

A descend from mweka Montana forest to mweka gate ,will make our final day in a mountain , at mweka gate you will apply park formalities and receive certificates, followed by hotel transfer. Normally the crew will depart you at the gate and it’s a ideal moment for you to handshake, also a perfect location to tip them, say goodbye while sharing your appreciation/any opinion about a trek, it’s definitely time to celebrate!
