You’ll explore Tarangire National Park and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, two of the country’s most diverse and wildlife-rich destinations. Safari Itinerary

Day 1 – Tarangire National Park

Main Destination: Tarangire National Park
Drive Time to Park: ~4 hours
Time in the Park: ~8 hours

Depart your hotel at 06:00 AM, driving through Arusha toward Tarangire National Park. After reaching the gate, begin your full-day game drive in a park renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Tarangire is also home to giraffes, zebras, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, cheetahs, and diverse birdlife.

Enjoy a full day exploring the park before exiting at 05:00 PM and heading to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Ngorongoro Crater

Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater
Drive Time to Crater: ~1 hour
Time in the Park: 7–8 hours
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
End of Trip: Drop-off at Airport or Hotel

After an early breakfast, depart your lodge/campsite and proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most impressive wildlife sanctuaries.

The crater’s fertile floor hosts a remarkable concentration of animals—rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, flamingos, and more. Spend 6–8 hours on game drives, enjoying breathtaking landscapes and exceptional wildlife viewing.

In the afternoon, begin your drive back to Arusha or Moshi, or continue to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) for your departure.
